I just can't say enough about
and majesty of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Running unbroken for
over 400 miles,
they contain 3 National Parks, majestic granite peaks including
the highest in
the lower 48 states (Mt. Whitney at 14,494 feet), the largest
living thing in
the world (General Sherman, an old growth Sequoia), hundreds of
lakes large and
small, and thousands of square miles of spectacular wilderness.

countless trips to the mountains.
